When we start to pay attention to the small moments in our day-to-day life, we wake up to how every moment is a chance to be present, and to make choices that bring nourishment and balance to our lives. I use a holistic approach drawing from Ayurvedic and yogic wisdom to offer you an integrative approach to restore balance and feel more whole. This individualized approach encourages you to feel empowered in your unique body, experience more stability, and endure less stress and anxiety.
I work with the time-tested wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda to help you connect with your true nature and use simple daily rituals so that you can enjoy your life.
During my final year at Berklee College of Music I decided to step into a yoga class in Boston, and was instantly hooked. Coming from a musical family, I have loved music my entire life, but was feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stressed from the past four years of being in a competitive school. Yoga brought me joy, clarity, and a sense of calm.
I discovered Ayurveda and holistic approaches to nutrition and lifestyle when I needed it the most. I was suffering from digestive issues and jumping from one diet to another, dealing with dry skin and congestion, feeling burnout and stress, and searching anywhere I could for answers to my health. I looked into green smoothies, salads, a vegan diet, exercise, and finally realized that the answers existed inside of me.
Holistic modalities provided me with the tools I needed to tap into the innate wisdom my body already contained. It showed me that what works for one person may not work for me, because we are each unique individuals who need different foods and daily routines to support our wellbeing. What I thought was a healthy lifestyle at the time, clearly was not working and my body and mind were feeling the effects of not having stability and routine in each day.
As soon as I healed my health issues through holistic approaches, I knew I had to share this ancient wisdom with others.
Whether I am teaching yoga or giving diet and lifestyle recommendations, my goal is to help you deepen your self-awareness and connection with yourself. Rather than giving you a set yoga sequence or diet to follow, I give simple and practical tools to optimize your health. I encourage each of us to pause, listen, and get to know ourselves through the many seasons of our life.
